Keeping Ourselves Centered & Protected
As you go through the intuitive healing process you need to know: each of us has our own special power. We carry it within; it waits to be awakened. Call it your inner self, your spirit, or light--however conceived, you must meet and come to know your core-essence. The source of all intuition, it is your fiercest ally and advocate against danger. By connecting with this part of yourself you'll mount confidence, feel safer in the world. Then whatever or whoever crosses your path--even the devil incarnate--will be no match for your resilience.
I want you to flush out beliefs that divert you from your intuitive healing power. Begin by asking yourself, "What in my life throws me off center and why?" I'm referring to everything from a stranger flashing you a dirty look, to fear of rejection, to dealing with someone in pain. Interactions where your energy dims. Weak spots, points that need securing. And what about negativity? How do you deal with yours, or another's? If a supervisor says, "You'll never be successful," or an ex-lover announces, "You're incapable of a healthy relationship," do you buy into it? We each have our triggers. The basis for centering and protection is grasping where we get caught, and then disengaging the trigger.
Beliefs That Drain Your Power
1. I'm not strong enough to protect myself. - As children, many of us aren't taught to believe in the full power we contain. Yes, our parents may support our intelligence, talents, physical attractiveness--even teach us sound ethical values, the difference between right and wrong. But what happens to our inner self? Might even devoutly religious parents fail to realize it is there? Our starting point is to recognize we possess a very real internal source which enables us to deeply see and know. Yet when something goes wrong, frequently our first impulse is to look outside ourselves for someone to "fix" us. We get sick; we rush to the doctor. We become depressed; we call a therapist. We're in pain; we take a pill. It's fine to seek expertise--but we have it backwards. Look inside first. Really, it's not a big blank in there. Then act on what your wisdom tells you.
What stops us? A likely culprit is the vulnerable child we each carry within. Mogul or mailman, mother or monk, this aspect of our psyche yearns to be taken care of, protected, and is unequipped to do it alone. He pops up in the darndest circumstances, reducing us to a helpless tiny tot. Of course we must tenderly acknowledge her needs--but know where to draw the line. Would you want a baby running your boardroom? Your life? Remember: Your inner self is more than your inner child. Far grander--capable of ministering to all your needs--is the radiance of your spirit. Feeling this, knowing this, is the best protection of all. You must become your own champion before anyone else can. When you believe in yourself, no one else can diminish you.
2. Other people's negative thoughts can harm me.
- In my workshops, I'm struck by how worried participants are about being thwarted by other people's negative thoughts. Such concerns need to be addressed. On an intuitive healing level, ill intentions or feelings can affect us, creating anxiety or physical dis-ease. We must train ourselves to deflect them. What is negative energy? Any force antithetical to your well-being. How does it turn up in everyday life? Let's start at the lower end of the spectrum. Your neighbor doesn't approve of you. A friend puts down your plan to start college at forty. Your ex-boyfriend's girlfriend is sending you bad vibes. What do you do?
Strategies to develop intuitive healing:
* Don't lead a lifestyle based on assuming others are out to get you. This perpetuates fear.
* If someone is sending you negative thoughts, avoid dwelling on them. The more attention you pay to negativity, the more influence you give it.
* Focusing on the strength of your inner self is the best defense against negativity, no matter how dramatic its manifestation. If you are solidly connected to yourself, nothing can get you. 3. I'm too sensitive for my own good. - The arch-enemy of intuition is lack of sensitivity. Know this: There is no such thing as being overly sensitive. To grasp the concept, you may have to reconfigure old ideas that have been drummed into your head. When parents or teachers said, "You have to toughen up," or especially with boys, "only sissies cry," unknowingly they were undermining the very crux of your intuitive tie with the world. Male sensibility, in particular, has been bludgeoned by such rigid conditioning. But, for both sexes, to break down childhood armoring requires extraordinary commitment, trust, and resolve.
What I'm speaking of isn't simply expressing your emotions. It's slowly learning, in your own time frame, to remain wide open to an intuitive realm--being one with the wind, the moon, other people's joys, sorrows, the continuum of life and death. From this comes an intimate ecstatic bond with all of existence, exactly what you don't want to protect yourself from. Sensitivity only turns against you when you feel overwhelmed. But how do you stay receptive and not get obliterated by the intensity of such input? It is possible to remain vulnerable and feel safe. The answer is never to shut your sensitivity off but to develop it as a creative resource.
4. It's my job to take on the pain of others. - We're trained that as big-hearted people it's laudable to try to relieve the pain of others. A homeless person holding a cardboard sign, "I'm hungry. Will work for food" at a busy intersection; a hurt child; a distraught friend. It's natural to want to reach out to them, ease their angst. But many of us don't stop there. Inadvertently, we take it on. Suddenly we're the one feeling desolate, off kilter, bereft, when we felt fine before. This loss of center is what I want to address. It does not serve us. I am adamant: the most compassionate, effective route to healing people is to be a supportive presence, not attempt to live their pain for them. Moreover, sometimes suffering has its own cycle that has to be respected, hard as that may be to witness.
We must lie to rest the old metaphysical prototype of the empathic healer. Typically grossly obese women (extra weight, they mistakenly argued, was the only way to stay grounded), who cured patients by absorbing symptoms with the technique of laying on of hands. The result? Patients would leave feeling better; the healers would be a sickly wreck. These women were convinced such a sacrifice was necessary to lessen the suffering of others. As a young physician, I almost got snagged in the same trap. During the first months of private practice, I used to drag myself home, flop into bed half-dead from everything I'd absorb: a sure path to burn-out. This tack wasn't good for me or my patients.
I've learned the value of being a catalyst for people's growth without compromising my well-being. Patients themselves have taught me I can't do the work for them. That is not my job. Nor is it yours. Keep this in mind: it is none of our business to deprive anyone else of their life experiences. I understand the impulse to want to make things better. Compassion and the desire to console are human. But there's a fine line between supporting someone and trying to do it for them. No matter how well-meaning or heartfelt your intention, doing too much is not an act of love but of sabotage. You can be caring and honest with someone, yet still let them be. Don't equate honoring their growth process with abandoning them. A practical philosophy of intuitive healing must include preserving your energy as well as serving others. Striking a balance is essential.

Weathering Your Personal Storms by Mary Lyn Miller findyourdirection. com ___________________________________
We often experience "storms" on a personal level. The loss of a job, a loved one, a break-up, moving, health issues and other traumatic transitions can "knock you off balance" and make you feel everything is destroyed. While transitions are natural phenomena, here are 5 Steps to moving into the peaceful eye of your storm, rather than being tossed about and battered by it.
1. DON'T PANIC - Oh, sure, that's easy for me to say. The natural reaction to change is often to panic. Unfortunately, this state of heightened fear produces poor decision making, and you may do far more damage to yourself than the initial storm ever could. For instance, many people come to me after losing a job saying, "I have to get something else immediately - I don't care what, just something quick." Once calmed, however, they see they have a perfect opportunity to re-evaluate their lives and move into something they like much better - slowly and steadily, rather than rashly. Fear creates more fear. Focusing on the positive aspects produces calm.
2. STAY PRESENT; DON'T "WHAT IF" YOURSELF - You can only deal with what's going on right now. In crisis (real or imagined), your mind can race, creating all sorts of horrifying scenarios of the future. As you project them, your body immediately responds putting you into "fight or flight" syndrome. This creates tremendous stress and reduces your ability to respond constructively to the present situation.
Eliminate "What If" from your vocabulary. I hear, "What if I don't get work soon enough? What if I can't find my passions? What if I'm not good enough? What if they don't like me?" What if it all worked out well? Stay present, do what's right for you right now, and the future will begin to reveal itself to you.
3. RE-EVALUATE WHAT YOU REALLY WANT - Facing change is an excellent time to re-evaluate what you really want. Look at what has worked in your life, what has not, and make some new plans to revitalize your life. Most of us don't move out of our comfort zone until pushed against the wall. If you want help in re-valuating your life and/or work, discovering your core passions, creating a new vision and life plan, as well as the support and steps to implement it, please email@findyourdirection.com.
4. CREATE A NEW VISION - If your old life isn't working, you have to create a new vision of where you are going. How can you get somewhere else if you don't have some idea of where that is? A new vision does NOT require a detailed plan of HOW you will get there. Once you know you are headed to Chicago, there are a variety of ways to get there. Vision is really what drives all of us. Is your vision exciting? Or are you visioning fear and lack?
5. KEEP MOVING - BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE - Energy begets energy. Sometimes the smallest steps create amazing impact. But, most of us are still thinking with the thoughts that got us into situations and have lifestyles that aren't as rewarding as we would like them to be. Nevertheless, keep doing something - anything - that is in alignment with your vision and things will begin to happen. Join a group. Get support. Get a coach. It's just plain easier, faster and more effective to be accountable to something or someone for your action steps. Also, you need feedback. It's good to have as much new information as possible. Try some of these and see how they help you weather your own personal storms.

by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
Here are seven suggestions to help you transcend ingrained ideas of self-importance. All of these are designed to help prevent you from falsely identifying with the self-important ego.
1. Stop being offended. - The behavior of others isn't a reason to be immobilized. That which offends you only weakens you. If you're looking for occasions to be offended, you'll find them at every turn. This is your ego at work convincing you that the world shouldn't be the way it is. But you can become an appreciator of life and match up with the universal Spirit of Creation. You can't reach the power of intention by being offended. By all means, act to eradicate the horrors of the world, which emanate from massive ego identification, but stay in peace. As A Course in Miracles reminds us: Peace is of God, you who are part of God are not at home except in his peace. Being is of God, you who are part of God are not at home except in his peace. Being offended creates the same destructive energy that offended you in the first place and leads to attack, counterattack, and war.
2. Let go of your need to win. - Ego loves to divide us up into winners and losers. The pursuit of winning is a surefire means to avoid conscious contact with intention. Why? Because ultimately, winning is impossible all of the time. Someone out there will be faster, luckier, younger, stronger, and smarter-and back you'll go to feeling worthless and insignificant.
You're not your winnings or your victories. You may enjoy competing, and have fun in a world where winning is everything, but you don't have to be there in your thoughts. There are no losers in a world where we all share the same energy source. All you can say on a given day is that you performed at a certain level in comparison to the levels of others on that day. But today is another day, with other competitors and new circumstances to consider. You're still the infinite presence in a body that's another day (or decade) older. Let go of needing to win by not agreeing that the opposite of winning is losing. That's ego's fear. If your body isn't performing in a winning fashion on this day, it simply doesn't matter when you aren't identifying exclusively with your ego. Be the observer, noticing and enjoying it all without needing to win a trophy. Be at peace, and match up with the energy of intention. And ironically, although you'll hardly notice it, more of those victories will show up in your life as you pursue them less.
3. Let go of your need to be right. - Ego is the source of a lot of conflict and dissension because it pushes you in the direction of making other people wrong. When you're hostile, you've disconnected from the power of intention. The creative Spirit is kind, loving, and receptive; and free of anger, resentment, or bitterness. Letting go of your need to be right in your discussions and relationships is like saying to ego, I'm not a slave to you. I want to embrace kindness, and I reject your need to be right. In fact, I'm going to offer this person a chance to feel better by saying that she's right, and thank her for pointing me in the direction of truth.
When you let go of the need to be right, you're able to strengthen your connection to the power of intention. But keep in mind that ego is a determined combatant. I've seen people end otherwise beautiful relationships by sticking to their need to be right. I urge you to let go of this ego-driven need to be right by stopping yourself in the middle of an argument and asking yourself, Do I want to be right or be happy? When you choose the happy, loving, spiritual mood, your connection to intention is strengthened. These moments ultimately expand your new connection to the power of intention. The universal Source will begin to collaborate with you in creating the life you were intended to live.
4. Let go of your need to be superior. - True nobility isn't about being better than someone else. It's about being better than you used to be. Stay focused on your growth, with a constant awareness that no one on this planet is any better than anyone else. We all emanate from the same creative life force. We all have a mission to realize our intended essence; all that we need to fulfill our destiny is available to us. None of this is possible when you see yourself as superior to others. It's an old saw, but nonetheless true: we are all equal in the eyes of God. Let go of your need to feel superior by seeing the unfolding of God in everyone. Don't assess others on the basis of their appearance, achievements, possessions, and other indices of ego. When you project feelings of superiority that's what you get back, leading to resentments and ultimately hostile feelings. These feelings become the vehicle that takes you farther away from intention. A Course in Miracles addresses this need to be special and superior: Special ness always makes comparisons. It is established by a lack seen in another, and maintained by searching for, and keeping clear in sight, all lacks it can perceive.
5. Let go of your need to have more. - The mantra of ego is more. It's never satisfied. No matter how much you achieve or acquire, your ego will insist that it isn't enough. You'll find yourself in a perpetual state of striving, and eliminate the possibility of ever arriving. Yet in reality you've already arrived, and how you choose to use this present moment of your life is your choice. Ironically, when you stop needing more, more of what you desire seems to arrive in your life. Since you're detached from the need for it, you find it easier to pass it along to others, because you realize how little you need in order to be satisfied and at peace.
The universal Source is content with itself, constantly expanding and creating new life, never trying to hold on to its creations for its own selfish means. It creates and lets go. As you let go of ego's need to have more, you unify with that Source. You create, attract to yourself, and let it go, never demanding that more come your way. As an appreciator of all that shows up, you learn the powerful lesson St.Francis of Assisi taught:"…it is in giving that we receive." By allowing abundance to flow to and through you, you match up with your Source and guarantee that this energy will continue to flow.
6. Let go of identifying yourself on the basis of your achievements. - This may be a difficult concept if you think you are your achievements. God writes all the music, God sings all the songs, God builds all the buildings, God is the source of all your achievements. I can hear your ego loudly protesting. Nevertheless, stay tuned to this idea. All emanates from Source! You and that Source are one! You're not this body and its accomplishments. You are the observer. Notice it all; and be grateful for the abilities you've accumulated. But give all the credit to the power of intention, which brought you into existence and which you're a materialized part of. The less you need to take credit for your achievements and the more connected you stay to the seven faces of intention, the more you're free to achieve, and the more will show up for you. It's when you attach yourself to those achievements and believe that you alone are doing all of those things that you leave the peace and the gratitude of your Source.
7. Let go of your reputation. - Your reputation is not located in you. It resides in the minds of others. Therefore, you have no control over it at all. If you speak to 30 people, you will have 30 reputations. Connecting to intention means listening to your heart and conducting yourself based on what your inner voice tells you is your purpose here. If you're overly concerned with how you're going to be perceived by everyone, then you've disconnected yourself from intention and allowed the opinions of others to guide you. This is your ego at work. It's an illusion that stands between you and the power of intention. There's nothing you can't do, unless you disconnect from the power source and become convinced that your purpose is to prove to others how masterful and superior you are and spend your energy attempting to win a giant reputation among other egos. Do what you do because your inner voice always connected to and grateful to your Source-so directs you. Stay on purpose, detach from outcome, and take responsibility for what does reside in you: your character. Leave your reputation for others to debate; it has nothing to do with you.

It does cause me to wonder
To stop, sit and think
Do we love in return?
show her respect?
Without healing and love
What can we expect?
Let's give back to her
What she gives to us all
When she cries out her tears
Let's heed the call
It's time to unite

The Webster's New World Dictionary states that an aura is "an invisible emanation or vapor" or "a particular atmosphere or quality that seems to arise from and surround a person or thing". The word "chakra" isn't even in this dictionary! I hope that the following information will give you a fuller understanding of these two words.
Although you may read about auras and chakras and think them to be two separate objects or manifestations, chakras are a component of an aura and each interpenetrates the other. Chakras are the means through which a physical body communicates with its aura and vice-versa. For you are not a physical body with an aura surrounding you. Rather, your aura and physical body are one unit that together make up only a small portion of the greater you.
If one thinks of the universe as being a living, energetic and conscious realm, then auras are the domain of this consciousness and lie in dimensions not usually accessible to us. By being impenetrable to our normal physical senses, they cannot be scientifically "proven" to exist. However, recent advances in science, in medicine, and in psychology have been such that there is much more acceptance of the mind-body relationship in disease. Perhaps the time is soon coming when society at large can recognize the credibility, sincerity, and veracity of clairvoyants who "see" in a different manner. In quantum physics we have discovered that the human observer can affect the observed, and consequently the outcome of the experiment. Is it too much of a leap to postulate that human consciousness, or one's spiritual field or aura, can affect matter?
To better understand ourselves and the interactions between our mind (emotions) and our body, we need to look at the whole person. The higher dimensions (or fields) of consciousness must then be included. Although we speak of levels or dimensions being "lower" or "higher", the terms are used only to differentiate amongst them. All dimensions co-exist within the same space. They are not separate at all and influence and interact with each other. Dora van Gelder Kunz, in her book The Personal Aura explains this interaction as being "achieved in somewhat the same way that the unique sound of a musical chord is created by combining different tones, each of which can be distinguished by a trained ear. The experience of listening to music is the best analogy I can think of, because the differences between the subtle fields are essentially harmonic in nature. Each dimension of consciousness has its range of frequencies, and plays a particular part in the total orchestration of a human being."
There are as many explanations of the Human Aura and the Chakra System as there are books on the subject. The following descriptions of the chakras have been taken from a variety of sources. As in all searches for the truth, please make your own judgments as to the validity of the material presented.

C H A K R A S
The word chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel. It is a wheel-like spinning vortex that interpenetrates the physical body, with the outer ends of each vortex forming a specific layer of the auric field. The whirling circular motion forms a cavity or vacuum in the center that draws in anything it encounters on its particular vibrational level. It is then processed and returned to the auric field. The major chakras of the human body are the seven chakras that are aligned along the spinal column. Secondary chakras of importance are located in the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, and at major joints in the arms and legs.
For the people of antiquity - Egyptians, Chinese, Hindus, Greeks, Romans, and aborigines of many lands - the chakras were an integrated part of daily lives. As these ancient civilizations were conquered, vast libraries of knowledge were destroyed. Only a few remnants of their information on the chakra system have survived - either through the preservation of ancient texts by sacred priesthood's, or orally from generation to generation, as in the traditions of many aboriginal peoples.
In any study of the anatomy of the aura it is important to understand the significance of the chakra system. The chakras exist on all levels of the aura and serve as linking mechanisms between the auric field and the physical body as well as linking mechanisms between the different levels of the auric field itself.
It is usually believed that the three lower chakras correlate to basic primary needs - those of survival, procreation, and will - whereas the four higher chakras are concerned with our psychological makeup -defining love, communication, and knowledge, and connection with the spiritual realms.

The Seven Major Chakras
First Chakra - We must balance this chakra before moving on to the others. Otherwise our growth will be without roots, i.e. , ungrounded
Other Names: Root, base, muladhara, Kundalini (Sanskrit)
Situated: base of spine and the pubic bone (but encompasses genitals and reproductive organs)

Other Names: Heart, anahata (Sanskrit)
Situated: midway between shoulder blades (over the sternum)
Color: Green
Element: Air
Area of Consciousness: astral body - This is the first level beyond 3-dimensional matter. Here we have the bridge between the dimensions of matter and the dimensions of spirit. Although we may refer to the "lower chakras" as being concerned with mankind, and the "upper chakras" as being concerned with spirituality and God, each chakra is no less important than the other. For instance, the first chakra has a number of frequencies (all within the Red vibration), ranging from very low to very high. The goal is to rise above a chakra's lower frequencies into its higher ones.

What we can know about the body and about change is that the healing of karma in the present changes the negative conditions that we have inherited from the past. But what, exactly, does this involve?
Often, it involves a change in attitudes, judgments, resentments, and wrong-thinking that we must give up in relation to others or ourselves. Yet, sometimes this choice is not clear, and it is difficult to know what it is that must be changed in order to make life work better. Sometimes, no obvious emotion or attitude seems to relate to what is happening to us.
A not-so-obvious explanation for this is that the healing of karmic influences cannot solely take place on the level of the mind or emotions. Such healing must take place on the level of the body as well. We must go through a process of releasing the feelings and thoughts that are stored within our bodies - within the very tissues and cells themselves - in order to be free of the chain of karmic influences that we carry.
Frequently, emotions and thoughts are less available to us because they are not part of our conscious awareness but are being carried as energies stored in various places within our physical self. We release them not just through erasing negativity on the mental level, but through allowing spiritual light to pass through our bodies so that what has been carried there can be let go of.
What is Spiritual Light?
It is the energy of God that created the world and that is, today, bringing about a collective spiritual awakening. This light is moving people to a deeper sense of their own identities and a more searching quest for spiritual truth. Light is Divine Intelligence emanating from God, but traveling across all planes and dimensions into the physical plane as well. The energy of spiritual light can be found in holy places. It can be invited into one's body through meditation and prayer. And it can be deepened, expanded, and strengthened through a process of alignment that creates a steady and constant communication with this healing stream.
Light transforms the body by separating out what must be let go of from what may be kept because it is part of our inherent divinity - part of God's light and love.
Spiritualizing the body involves understanding that 'karma' is not just happening to us. It lives within us as well. It is displayed in the flow of external events. It is experienced as the flow of emotional events. Yet, its more subtle aspects are often buried within the tissues and organs of our physical being, sometimes invisibly so, and sometimes creating illnesses and other kinds of limitations that we must pay attention to.
The body is meant to be a sacred vessel for the soul. It is meant to be pure and light-filled - a home for our higher consciousness. For many of us, this requires a great leap forward in our understanding of who we are and what a spiritual life is about. Strong habits from the past often separate our spirituality into things we think and feel - things we pray about or reflect on - and the rest of our life which often seems less sacred.
We are being called, today, to take a new view of things, and, indeed, to take more responsibility for healing the things of the past. When we do this with consciousness and deliberation, we will come to the point of recognizing within ourselves that which can be healed more easily, and that which seemingly takes a very long time to heal. Sometimes, in relation to certain longstanding patterns of limitation, we may have serious doubts about whether healing is possible at all.
To imagine incorporating the body into our view of the emotional/spiritual healing process will take us into new territory, but it will also allow us to work with the forces of Divine Intelligence and healing that are now more accessible on the Earth. As we do so, we will become enabled to let go of things that we have held onto for too long, or that have seemed impossible to release. This is the result of spiritualizing the body as well as the mind and heart. We become free to be ourselves without the limitations of the past, and to create a future that is based on wholeness and on the untapped and vast potential of our soul.

Patience is good. Synchronicity is better. Patience can be defined as bearing or enduring without complaint. It is the act of "giving time" to that which will come to fruition. It is the hope of things to come.
Note that patience implies the waiting game, that is, "I don't have it now, but with time it will come to me." For example, suppose I have plans to work in my garden this morning. However, a storm has appeared and the weather prohibits me from tending to the garden. I can say to myself, "I will be patient and in due time I will be able to work in my garden." And wait I will. And I can easily become anxious, as I sit and watch the weather pass by, waiting, waiting and waiting furthermore.
On the other hand, synchronicity is that which knows no waiting or enduring. It recognizes that all is complete in the moment. It provides all in this very moment. It knows there is a perfect time and place for all, and one who experiences synchronicity knows of the harmony between the person and the completeness of the moment. One in synchronicity is not waiting for the rain to stop so that the garden may be tilled, but instead appreciates the rain in all its splendor, along with the situation that it creates in the moment.
Instead of tending to the garden, the fall of the rain may give me reason to sit down a write a letter to an old friend. So rather than focusing on what could be done, I instead focus on that which is in the moment and what is given to me irrespective of my plans or wishes.
From a separation consciousness point of view, patience is that which fills the chasm of time. From the position of now, I project that I want something to occur that is currently in the position of later. There is a chasm -- between the present and the future. That is the "reality" of time that we create in our heads, and yet time is not real. Or, it is real only so far as we construct it out of our separation consciousness.
Synchronicity works in the now and only in the now. It is the result of full acceptance and allowance of life and its quality of flow. It is born from the stillness of the mind, in listening to that which is brought to us by the universe. It is the natural flow of life, irrespective of our conditioning, our wants and our plans. When we drop the thinking, that which is beyond thought is allowed to manifest itself in our experience. And the quality of such manifestation is Perfection, is synchronistic and is divine. It's getting out of the way for The Way.
Synchronicity is the essence of unity consciousness, a quality of the natural flow of life. The flower blooms in perfect synchronicity with the natural elements of the sun, the water, the wind and the soil. It does hope to bloom in the winter, nor does does it have plans or wishes to bloom during the cold months. Instead, it lives in a synchronistic relationship with all elements in its experience and grows when it is best for it to be supported by the elements, and vice versa. It blooms at its perfect time, in harmony with that which surrounds it and interrelates with it.
Patience is waiting. How can one be complete if one is waiting for that which is not yet evident? Even patient waiting is waiting. Like the passenger in the train station awaiting the arrival of his train, he may be on the constant outlook for the appearance of the train down the tracks. In his constant glances down the track, he is anxious and in desire of that which is not yet in his experiential field. Instead, he may have a seat on a station bench, taking pleasure in watching lilies sway in the field across the tracks. And as he does so, lo and behold, the train will come into his awareness in its own time. And it is in that moment he can bring his awareness to the arrival of the train. It is in the moment.
Synchronicity is a gift of the universe, available to use in every moment. It is the subtle and sweet music of existence that we can hear if we only listen. If we attend only to the clamoring of our minds, we will be unable to manifest the harmonious flow of synchronicity from unity consciousness. Our dance to this synchronistic flow is experiential ecstasy. It is the effortless dance of the of the self with the universe.

These days the focus in some spiritual teachings is to be present in the Now, bringing yourself into the present, living in the present. In this way we are encouraged to realize the consciousness of Oneness, consciousness becoming aware of itself.
We are asked to remember who we really are when we have a feeling of separateness. We are told that many of us spend most of our day out of our bodies living in the past or living in the future, rarely grounded in our bodies and fully conscious of what we are doing and where we are.
Awareness of our surroundings would include using all of our senses, our thoughts quiet, allowing us to be what we are doing rather than feeling separated from it as an act of behavior. If we pay attention by observing our daily process, we can see the numerous opportunities available to us to travel in time both past and future, living in places other than the Now. And so we keep practicing and practicing to 'be present.' We forget and then we remember, again and again.
But what if that is only part of the picture? What if there is a cart before that "present moment" horse? What if the mind has to fall into the heart into order to be present? And what if that heart is constricted by the limitations of old wounds?
What if the old wounds cover our heart like heavy overcoats in winter? We keep trying to "be present" in our layers of long underwear full of unhealed conflicts of our life. We try our best to do what we have been told... calling ourselves back out of the past and remembering the essence of who we really are. But we can only be partially present in the now unless we are working at the same time to heal and integrate the fragments of our heart that have been broken. No one can heal them but ourselves. It is our choice.
The sense of realized consciousness has to be felt not with our thinking minds but with our loving heart. Simply working to be alert to the present moment in the Now is not enough. When an isolated part of the wounded heart gets our attention (and it definitely will as we live in relationship with one another), then we know we have work to do. We can feel it throughout our body... an upset stomach, a stiff neck, etc.
The heart wants to be whole and resonate with the healing energy that is the glue of the universe. It will continually tap on our consciousness, asking to be let in, nurtured and to come Home. All it asks is for our embrace rather than ignoring it or trying to cover it up with some distraction or another.
Maybe we don't want to feel the old pain of those past hurts. Maybe it seems like too much work. And who would want to revisit those old places of resistance? But then, who wants to keep carrying them? It takes a lot of energy to walk around bundled up in piles of constricted clothing that we don't need anymore. In this state of consciousness we are less likely to give voice to that which needs to be spoken. We tend to give our power away (remembering that no one can take it; our power is ours to give if we choose). It is hard on the heart.
What if our present moment work is simply to be the process of acknowledging that separated fragment of the heart that triggers an emotional and bodily reaction of anxiety and pain? What happens if we practice showering it with compassion and love, embracing it with acceptance? What if we just hold the fragment in our heart and allow the loving energy to gather in the separated and wounded part and bathe it with healing energy?
With each gathering in of a fragmented part of our heart, the ability to be more fully in the present moment increases because another heavy overcoat of the heart is dissolved into light. It doesn't matter whether it is a feeling of being not good enough or a fear of abandonment, or any other fear. Love is the ultimate medicine that heals all.
We watch in amazement at how quickly the transformation occurs; how quickly love dissolves the separated part into the whole. The heavy overcoats fly off the heart and into the ethers. The heart then takes a deep breath and expands with a renewed passion for living and loving. Our senses are revitalized. We can feel more where we are and what we are doing, whatever it may be. We know who we are because our heart is resonating with our own Being.
A healing and integrated heart leads us into the present moment. Empowerment becomes us. Our voice is freed to speak our truth. Our power center is active and open and balanced. Our intuition flowers with guidance and connection. Attempting to be present in the Now without doing our heart work is simply a big frustrating process of trying. It keeps us knocking at what we think is the door of self-realization. Our integrated heart is the doorway.

Message from The Hathors - Let us give you an overview of the current planetary situation as we view it. The magnetic field of earth is involved in a perturbation or morphing. This is taking place interdimensionally, and the net effect is incremental surges in amplitude or strength of the magnetic field. This morphing of earth's magnetic field is like a wave that rises and falls very quickly, and the oscillations are minute, but distinct. This is having a very strange effect upon human consciousness, specifically your biological experience. Many people are experiencing an increase of exhaustion and weariness. (As we have mentioned in previous communications, these symptoms are also caused by movements of energies from deep space as they pass through your galaxy and your solar system.)
But this (perturbation) is of a different category. This is caused by the magnetic field itself, which is responding to the deep energies from space. It is a response of the molten core of your earth itself; and the magnetic field is having a conversation with the cosmos, if you wish to think of it in this metaphorical way. Now, your science does not view things in this manner, but from our perspective the magnetic field is having a conversation with these cosmic visitors, the energies from deep space, which are, by nature, catalysts for spiritual evolution.
Another set of symptoms directly related to the perturbations of your magnetic field are distinct changes in how you hold short term memory—because memory is a function of the magnetics of your own nervous system and that of earth. Your brain processes information through the minute gravitational and non-gravitational fields of it's own structure and it is affected directly by fluctuations in the earth's magnetic field. And so you can expect an increase in short term memory anomalies. You may find yourself speaking a sentence and suddenly the words do not come to you or you mix up the words from their normal syntax. While in some cases this is the sign of a brain disorder, you will find this happening within the general populace at an increasing rate. Escalations in collective short-term memory glitches will lead humanity to a most novel situation. This situation is an opportunity or a curse, depending on how you work with it.
The opportunity is to see through the mental matrix of your own creation. What we mean by this is when your mind is unable to continue its story line in the ways it is used to, you have an opportunity to glimpse the realities behind the curtain (of perception). You are the ones who have created the curtain, and you have done this to keep yourselves separated from things you do not wish to see or experience directly, or in some cases what others do not wish you to see or experience directly. We refer here to the unseen manipulators of your collective reality—those who hold the economic and political reins of power.
We have said before that there are forces on your planet that actively resist the impulse for spiritual evolution. They are invested in continuing their lies through the misappropriation of information in order to control you. Their job is getting more difficult.
Their job is getting more difficult because the perturbation of the magnetic field creates gaps in the creation of mental realities projected by the human mind. They—meaning those who wish to control and manipulate you—have vast resources at their command, and they are employing every one of them. But they cannot control the magnetic field of the earth! And for this, you should give thanks.
The impulse that is affecting the magnetic field of the earth comes from far beyond their locus of influence. It is our expectation, based upon our understanding of hyper-dimensional physics, that the perturbations of your magnetic field are going to increase over the next several years. Those of you who are sensitive energetically are the ones feeling this most intensely at the present moment, but we suspect that in the next two to three years most people will be affected by this in a way they are consciously aware of, even if they do not know why.
We have a couple of suggestions for dealing with the situation.
Our first suggestion is the easiest. It involves understanding your connection to the core of the earth itself. As an energetic being, in addition to your flesh and blood, you can form a conscious energetic relationship with the core of the earth.
This understanding, or orientation, is that you are immersed in and surrounded by, earth's magnetic field. By going into mental resonance with the core of the earth (the generator of earth's magnetic field), you become energetically stabilized. The earth, as a conscious being, can reveal herself to you in ways that are difficult to describe because your culture does not have a language for this. And you have been manipulated and controlled to insure that you do not have an awareness of this, for it could be one of your greatest strengths.
By entering into resonance with the core of the earth you become more conscious of the earth as a living conscious being. Through this link, you receive a type of energetic-solidity—even in the midst of earth's increasing chaos.
The odd thing about it, however, is that when you bring yourself to your senses, so to speak, you are less controllable, less "manipulatable" by those forces that control the thought stream of humanity through mis-information, manipulation and mind-control.
In other words, forming a direct conscious relationship with the earth's core bypasses many of the affects of what we call life-negative technologies. If you wish to do something in addition to entering into mental resonance with the core of the earth, we suggest using your pranic tube, a subtle energetic channel that runs from above your head, through the center of your body, and into the earth. This tube, this channel, can be extended deep into the earth, down into the very core itself, and also above the head deep into space. In this method you are not dealing with extending the channel beyond the top of the head. Instead, you only extend the channel into the core of the earth.
But the essential thing is not so much the sending of this channel into the earth. The essential thing is to understand that you are in resonance with the core of the earth simply by knowing it. This will impart a sense of stability even in the midst of increasing chaos. It will awaken your senses. It will bring you into greater conscious relationship to earth. And, we must caution you that it will also de-hypnotize you—make you less controllable. And you will see through the lies around you more clearly!
The second suggestion involves developing a conscious relationship to the core of the galaxy. Essentially, understand that you can be in resonance with the core of the Milky Way Galaxy, which is a black hole, and that in similar ways to being in resonance with the core of the earth, you can become stabilized in relationship to the galaxy.
If you are capable of this, simply hearing this described to you will activate the knowingness of how to do it. It is not a complex affair. It is quite simple, but requires the understanding that a part of you is not limited by the time and space coordinates of your physical body.
It requires an understanding that consciousness can extend instantaneously, anywhere in time and space, and by extending your consciousness to the galactic core, you are stabilized in relationship to the galaxy.
The ideal is to be in relationship to earth's core and the core of the galaxy simultaneously. Then you will be able to ride the waves of energy from deep space with a greater degree of mastery.
But, again, we caution you that this will make you less controllable, harder to hypnotize, and then you may have the very odd experience of waking up while many around you are still asleep. What you do with this awareness is, of course, your choice and your response-ability.
A few clarifying thoughts from Tom - For those unfamiliar with the pranic tube here is a brief description: The pranic tube is a subtle energetic-channel that is tube-like and runs from the crown, at the top of the head, through the center of the body and passes through the perineum into the earth. The perineum is a point mid-way between your genitals and your anus.
If you touch the tip of your thumb to the tip of your second finger, you will see a circle that is the approximate size of your pranic tube. In some esoteric traditions, the pranic tube is called the Central Pillar or Central Column.
Some lineages of Tibetan Buddhist yogis and yoginis work with a very thin channel, about the size of a human hair, that runs through the center of the pranic tube. This energy pathway is known as the Secret Channel and it is used in certain esoteric yogic practices to affect the subtle energetics within the yogi's or yogini's body—the idea being that such practices lead to a qu
