REV. DANIEL A. CHESBRO ORDAINED MINISTER INTUITIVE COUNSELOR LECTURER AND TEACHER
Rev. Daniel Chesbro combines sensitive intuitive abilities with a ministerial background, psychological training, and metaphysical knowledge to teach, guide and enhance the lives of those he encounters. A dynamic lecturer and teacher, Dan Chesbro encourages others to self-love, self-confidence, balance and the pursuit of their own High Spiritual Self.
INTRODUCING REV. CHESBRO
Daniel was born in Groton Connection on August 22, 1944. His intuitive abilities awakened in childhood with dreams and feelings of guidance. As a college student at the University of Connecticut, his experiences guided him to pursue a ministerial career. Following seminary training at Andover Newton Theological School, Crozer Seminary and Colgate Divinity School, Rev. Chesbro became an American Baptist Minister serving congregations in Boston, Philadelphia, Rochester and Webster New York. At age 33, he began traveling to spiritual conferences teaching, counseling, lecturing and appearing on radio and television. For several years, he hosted a Cablevision program called "The Open Door." His work had taken him all over the United States to Canada, Europe, India, Tibet and Egypt.
In 1980, Dan Chesbro founded a non-denominational church, SANCTUARY OF THE BELOVED and in 1983, established the educational corporation, Visions of Tomorrow, which has sponsored a conference at Geneseo State College every summer since 1985. Dan Chesbro re-established the ancient Order of Melchizedek in 1986, and there are now 14,000 men and women of every race and from several religious disciplines whose main function is to teach "love" and to heal in the period of the Great Transformation of Planet Earth.
The Order of Melchizedek - Dan Chesbro
The order of Melchizedek is a priesthood of individuals committed to teach and/or heal the Human Condition as it emerges into the Age of Aquarius. Because we do not bias with regard to race, gender or sexual persuasion many of the world's religions are represented. There are no popes, bishops, high priests or hierarchies of any kind. WE ARE ALL EQUAL TO SERVE IN FREEDOM.
The Order of Melchizedek Of the many incarnations that "The Christ" assumed in order to serve the human condition, one is Melchizedek, a totally balanced being - as a Priest and as a King- and spiritually androgynous. Being more "spirit" than "physical," he/she appeared on the Earth without a birth experience, wrote The Book of Job and the teachings on the principle of "The Law of One." Upon completing his physical work, through true spontaneous combustion, he left the earth plane.
Melchizedek is beloved by many faiths, as a great teacher and prophet. The "School of the Prophets" and the Essene Order are a result of his earthwork. As a priest today, you are the direct inheritor of this spiritual history.
Some Biblical References Melchizedek (mel-kiz'-e-dek or mel-ke-ze'dek) Psalm 76:2 Psalm 1:10 Acts 10:35 Ezra 2:59-62 Genesis 14:19-20 Hebrews 5:7-10, 6:19-20, 7:1-17
Who is this workshop for?
These workshops and the ordinations are open to those people who have been spiritual guided to this path. Rev. Dan Chesbro stresses that "no one can be asked to be ordained or be refused ordination."
This ordination is recognized be the United States and legally permits you to perform weddings, funerals, perform spiritual counseling, spiritual healing working, baptism and teaching.

There are currently over 15,000 priests internationally.
The Order of Melchizedek is a priesthood of individuals committed to teach and/or heal the Human Condition as it emerges into the Age of Aquarius. Because we do not discriminate, everyone is welcome. There is no bias with regard to race, gender or sexual persuasion and many of the world's religions are represented. There are no popes, bishops, high priests or hierarchies of any kind.
The Invitation
In early 1986, Daniel Chesbro received guidance saying simply, "It is time to call the Priests." With that statement and through subsequent dreams, came the knowledge that he is never to ask anyone to become a Priest, nor is he to turn any one away. There is no place for judgment. Each person who is moved to make this step has been prepared through lifetimes and was born already having made the decision to become a Priest. Regarding formal training, it was said, Jesus didn't tell the disciples to go to four years of seminary. He told them to teach people to love one another. Each person has had experiences in life and education, both formal and informal, which have been a preparation for their personal ministry, and any future studies chosen will be exactly perfect for carrying out their work.
In taking this step, a person commits him/herself to teach and to heal. That doesn't mean to quit a job and get a church. It means to be available to those who come into their lives to teach "love", to help people draw from the highest, most loving selves when making decisions in their lives. Also, we're to help others realize they can open themselves up to God's healing energy which can flow through each one of us. Each Priest is encouraged to go within for guidance for their own work. Each Priest is also encouraged not to compare themselves with others as each one is unique and valuable in his or her own way. The order is coming into the physical form now because of the Earth transformation that is taking place. It last came into being in preparation for the coming of Christ. We know from other sources that ours is not the only Melchizedek Order that is emerging. Several groups are simultaneously beginning, totally independent and many times unaware of each other's existence.
After receiving guidance regarding the actual ceremony, Dan Chesbro ordained the first two priests, a man and a women, on Easter Sunday, March 22, 1986. Since then thousands of people, from diverse backgrounds, have chosen this path. They are not required to "give up" anything they believe in or to resign from any other organizations. They are simply given an "energy boost" to enhance the work they are already doing. There is no doctrine they must follow.
We do not say that our way is the only way. There are many paths to God, but the basis of all true spiritual work is Love, Unconditional Love, and we all come from that source. We encourage each Priest to ask permission before beginning to teach or to offer healing assistance out of respect for individual FREE WILL.
Some have asked if they may help in the performance of ordinations. Through his birth path (8/22/44) and his previous lifetime experiences, Dan has been prepared to be the "transferor" of this energy. He cannot "teach" anyone how to make this transference. He has been told that if and when anyone else is to perform ordinations, Dan will be advised.

PRIESTHOOD SYMBOL
The Key of Life or "Priesthood Symbol" is a helpful tool in reconnecting us with history and our goal " to teach and heal a world in transformation."
The triangle represents the descent of God-Light into matter and toward the Earth for change. It is a "male principle" because it is action going forth. It is Light, Fire, Revelation. It is shown as a triangle in its two-dimensional form, which is also symbolic of the trinity of "Light" or "neutrinos," the building blocks of unconditional Love that is the Universe. In its three-dimensional form, it is a cone, or vortex of energy spiraling toward the atmosphere of Earth. The Gemstone which is the color of Indigo Blue, is connected to this energy which is called Lapis. Those of you who work color, or crystal (stone) healing may wish to use these elements.
The Priesthood is "the Cup" or receptacle into which this Light is poured and through which the outpouring is given to all those whom you contact, as benefit of that Light. It is the outpouring of the vessel of Aquarius. "Follow the Water bearer!" This fire is a Kundalini life force, which is why so many of you have had life-changing events since your ordination. And, of course, all of this is in accordance with your Free Will.
By the turn of the century, the entire life force of Planet Earth will have been impregnated by this transforming energy. Our job is to help in that process by being the best that we can be to teach and heal right where you are. Bring it down to Earth by being down to Earth yourself. If you’re a carpenter, then be the best you can be, exhibit "oneness" in your life and in your craft. Teach by example and heal through you attitude. Heal through your care about your work and the people you work with and for. Work is Worship.
If you’re a waitress-priest, you serve with "oneness" and teach by your example at your workplace. You heal in your attitude with the clients and the conversations at the table or booth. You all have the freedom to create your ministry in your life, as you live it. Forgive yourself and be focused on one day at a time. You don’t need to be a doctor to be a healer, or a professor to be a teacher. Take what you’ve got and go with it. Be creative and be the vessel for the outpouring of the Light.
The Crossbar is for balance and equality. It is the integration point between the yin and yang (male & female energies.) It is the child of those energies. It is the point where they meet. It is perfect balance and the creative issue that comes from that. It is like the atmosphere around Mother Earth, that takes the Light energy, breaks it up and disperses it around the world through the magnetic field. In third-dimensional form, it is a disk with a point in the center. That represents "BINDU" or the point of origin, the round table at which everyone is equal when they join together and focus on the middle. It goes in all directions equally. Its circumference is the same as the cone and the orb or circle-the bottom of the symbol.
In the Priesthood, we are all equal...none greater than the other...none higher or lower, but all equal in God’s sight. God Sight is color, gender, past, and career blind, etc. It is the seed of the Soul. When the disk is slightly twisted, it creates the pattern of infinity. It is a God Symbol that has no beginning or end, but forevermore, just like the words of your vow. The color of the crossbar is yellow and the stone is Golden Topaz.
The circle is Mother Earth. It is the Female principle. It is the receiver of the Light, that which the Light is being poured into...for the life...for growth...for change. The results of that is change for all forms of life on the plane... all forms, which include visible and invisible...the microbes, the viruses, the people, plants and animals, systems, governments, countries, etc. As Priests, we are midwives for God in this process. Each of you is uniquely designed to do your part in this process of transformation. Mother is a loving part of God’s body, the universe. Our thoughts, feelings and deeds directly affect her atmosphere and her skin and body. God desires that she continue to live and that we must change in order for that to continue. The goal of the Priesthood is to teach and to heal during this time of Mother’s rebirthing process. The color green and the stone is Emerald.
For those who use geomancy or sacred mathematics, the number values are:
Triangle = 7, Crossbar = 7 and Circle = 8, it totals 22. Twenty-two is a Master frequency for liberation.

The Melchizedek priesthood is the name of several priesthoods.
Contents [hide] 1 The Melchizedek priesthood in scripture 2 Interpretations of the Melchizedek priesthood 2.1 Buddhist Priesthood 3 In the theology of Latter Day Saint movement 4 The historical Melchizedek 5 Representative of the priestly line 5.1 The Melchizedek priesthood and Christianity 6 References 7 External links
The Melchizedek priesthood in scripture From the day that Moses brought the Torah/the Law down from Mount Sinai it was the tribe of Levi which was commissioned to serve as priests before YHVH, the God of Israel. This continued on into the era of the Kings of Israel. Melchizedek, King of Salem, a contemporary of Abraham, was not from the tribe of Levi and in fact pre-dated the patriarch Levi by two generations. The Torah and the Old Testament affirms that Melchizedek was "priest of God Most High." (Genesis 14:18) King David in the Psalms refers to the future King of kings or Messiah as a "priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek." (Psalm 110:1-4.) Judaism traditionally identifies Melchizedek (lit. "My king is righteous") with Shem.
Melchizedek is referred to again in Hebrews 5:6-10; Hebrews 6:20; Hebrews 7:1-21: "Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek"; and Hebrews 8:1. The writer to the Hebrews points out that Melchizedek received tithes from Abraham. Since Levi was as yet unconceived by Abraham when he gave tithes to Melchizedek then it follows that the priestly office of Melchizedek is greater than the priesthood of Levi.
And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises" (Hebrews 7:5-6).
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law" (Hebrews 7:11-12).
Hebrews 7:3 in the New Testament refers to Melchizedek as a king "without father or mother or genealogy," a reference which some Christians take as a type of Christ.[citation needed]
Interpretations of the Melchizedek priesthood Catholics find the roots of their priesthood in the tradition of Melchizedek. (CCC 1544)[1] In Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek offers a sacrifice of bread and wine. Christ therefore fulfilled the prophecy of Ps 110:4, that he would be a priest "after the order of Melchizedek," at the Last Supper, when he broke and shared bread with his disciples. Catholics take seriously Christ's command that the Apostles should "do this in memory of Me." As such, the Church continues to offer sacrifices of bread and wine at Mass, as part of the sacrament of the Eucharist.
Some Christian evangelicals and Messianic Jews hold that Jesus Christ/Yeshua Hamashiach will return as the true Messiah in the name. According to this view, which is taken from a literalist interpretation of Revelation 20, he will serve as both king and high Priest (e.g. the Melchizedek priesthood) in a coming millennium of the Messiah.
A more mainstream Protestant theological understanding simply holds that the mysterious Melchizedek priesthood refers to Jesus as the eternal priest. His once-made sacrifice fulfilled the need for atonement of sins and he currently rules within the Church. In this via traditions of the Book of Hebrews, Jesus has ever been, is, and will ever be the only totally perfect priest (Hebrews 9–-7). Amillennialists believe that the messiah has already come, and his earthly role has been fulfilled. This is contrary to millenarianism which expects a pre-millennial return of Christ as Messiah.
Some Christians believe Jesus Christ the Son came to Earth at various times before the New Testament, including once as Melchizedek himself. These appearances are called Christophanies. Others still maintain that Melchizedek is actually Archangel Michael: Michael is designated in the Book of Enoch as "the prince of Israel" (and Latter-day Saints say he is Adam). He is the angel of forbearance and mercy (Enoch, xl:3) who taught Enoch the mysteries of clemency and justice (lxxi:2). In the book of Jubilees (i:27 and ii:1), the angel who is said to have instructed Moses on Mount Sinai and to have delivered to him the tables of the Law is most probably Michael. Still others believe that Michael is Jesus.
Buddhist Priesthood Some Buddhists contend that Melchizedek, which iterally means "King of the Law" in Hebrew, is none other than Buddha and that Buddha is the one who fulfills the Biblical covenant[2]. In Buddhism, Buddha is called, "the King of the Law" or Dhamma raja in the Selau Sutta of the Majjhima Nikaya[3]:
553. O! Gotama, king of kings, win over the humans and rule". 554. The Lord said: ßSela, I am the King of the Law, incomparable. Similarly, just as Hebrews 7:3 that Melchizedek is without mother and father or any known geneology as is the priesthood in the order of Melchizedek, so is the priesthood of Buddha.
393. Not by matted hair, nor by lineage, nor by birth does one become a holy man. But he in whom truth and righteousness exist — he :is pure, he is a holy man. (Dhammapada XXVI) "in the religion I teach, the standard by which precedence in the matter of lodging and the like is to be settled is not noble :birth or having been a Brahmin or having been wealthy before entry into the order".[4] And in the going forth of the Buddhist priesthood of the Sangha is upon giving up one's lineage:
"Just as whatever great rivers there are... on reaching the great ocean lose their former names and identities and are just called :'the great ocean,' so also (those of) the four castes ; nobles, brahmans, merchants, and workers; having gone forth from home to :the homeless state in the Dhamma and Discipline made known by the Tathagata, abandon their former names and identities and are just :called 'recluses, the followers of the Sakyan son.' .Udana 5.5 Uposatha Sutta The Observance However, although Buddha himself is lovingly called the Sakyan Sage (Sakyamuni), he himself said he is not of his royal lineage, but of his lineage from Buddhas:
"I am not putting you to shame, 0 great King! I am following the custom of my lineage," replied the Buddha, to the King's :astonishment. "But, dear son, is it the custom of my lineage to gain a livelihood by seeking alms? Surely, Lord. ours is the warrior lineage of :Mahāsammata, and not a single warrior has gone seeking alms." "O great King, that is not the custom of your royal lineage. But it is the custom of my Buddha lineage. Several thousands of Buddhas :have lived by seeking alms." [5] The Dharma fellowship of H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa (similar in status to H.H. Dalai Lama) refers to the Christian bishop and apostolic vicar Dr. Milner, saying, "It was then in offering up a sacrifice of bread and wine, instead of slaughtered animals that Melchizedek's sacrifice differed from the generality of those in the Old Law... No other sense than this can be elicited from the Scripture as to this means; and accordingly the holy fathers unanimously adhere to this meaning." The Tibetan Dharma fellowship [2] recognize Buddha Padmasambhava with Melchizedek, and thus the specific lineages of Tibet with the Melchizedek priesthood. It is held as credible that some gnostic Christian traditions (Manicheans among others) have sought refuge and merged into the Tibetan lineages and syncretic teachings of Buddha and the indiginous shaman tradition of the Himalayas.
In the theology of Latter Day Saint movement Bronze statue in Temple Square, Salt Lake City, representing Peter, James, and John in the act of confering the Melchizedek priesthood to Joseph Smith and Oliver CowderyMain article: Melchizedek priesthood (Latter Day Saints) In the Latter Day Saint movement (Mormonism), the Melchizedek Priesthood is viewed as the priesthood authority of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, higher than that of the Aaronic authority of John the Baptist and prior prophets. According to sacred texts dictated by Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of the movement, the prophet Melchizedek preached repentance to the people of a wicked city, and established peace in the land. According to Alma 13:18, Melchizedek's efforts earned him the title of "the prince of peace." Of particular importance in is the parallel Hebrew meaning of "prince of peace" and "king of Salem," another of Melchizedek's titles, and his association with (or typology of) Jesus Christ, who is also called the Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:2) as well as the Great High Priest (Heb. 4:14). Later, Melchizedek's people were, according to Smith, caught up, or "translated" (instantaneous progression from mortal existence to a heavenly state), to meet the city of Enoch (JST Genesis 14:32). The priesthood is referred to by the name of Melchizedek because he was such a great high priest (Covenant 107:2). Initially, the only Melchizedek Priesthood office in the LDS Church was elder. Later revelations extended the office complement to Seventy (now discontinued in the LDS Church as local quorums, and are General Authorities only, like Apostles), High Priest, and Apostle — although all Melchizedek Priesthood bearers are addressed only by the title “Elder.”
The historical Melchizedek Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek — by Dieric Bouts the Elder, 1464–67Melchizedek is a figure in the Hebrew Bible. There is no other evidence other than the Bible record that indicates that Melchizedek was a historical figure. Some liberal scholars have taken this and argued that grammar and stylistic considerations indicate that the account of Melchizedek is actually a non-Jewish tradition which was inserted later due to its mentioning of Abraham.
Representative of the priestly line In some translations, Psalms names Melchizedek as representative of the priestly line through which a future king of Israel's Davidic line was ordained. Alternatively, it may be more accurate that this term was here intended to be treated as an agglutinated improper noun, and thus translated as rightful king rather than left as Melchizedek; this interpretation is taken by some modern translations, such as the New JPS Tanakh.
The Melchizedek priesthood and Christianity Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah spoken of as "a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek" (Ps. 110:4), and so Jesus plays the role of High Priest once and for all. Jesus is considered a priest in the order of Melchizedek because, like Melchizedek, Jesus was not a Levite, and thus would not qualify for the Levitical priesthood (Heb. 7:13-17).
The author of the Epistle to the Hebrews in the New Testament discussed this subject considerably, listing the following reasons for why the priesthood of Melchizedek is superior to the Aaronic priesthood:
Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek; later, the Levites would receive tithes from their countrymen. Since Aaron was in Abraham's loins then, it was as if the Aaronic priesthood were paying tithes to Melchizedek. (Heb. 7:4-10) The one who blesses is always greater than the one being blessed. Thus, Melchizedek was greater than Abraham. As Levi was yet in the loins of Abraham, it follows that Melchizedek is greater than Levi. (Heb. 7:7-10) If the priesthood of Aaron were effective, God would not have called a new priest in a different order in Psalm 110. (Heb. 7:11) The basis of the Aaronic priesthood was ancestry; the basis of the priesthood of Melchizedek is everlasting life. That is, there is no interruption due to a priest's death. (Heb. 7:8,15-16,23-25) Christ, being sinless, does not need a sacrifice for his own sins. (Heb. 7:26-27) The priesthood of Melchizedek is more effective because it required a single sacrifice once and for all (Jesus), while the Levitical priesthood made endless sacrifices. (Heb. 7:27) The Aaronic priests serve (or, rather, served) in an earthly copy and shadow of the heavenly Temple, which Jesus serves in. (Heb. 8:5) The epistle goes on to say that the covenant of Jesus is superior to the covenant the Levitical priesthood is under. Some Christians hold that Melchizedek was a type of Christ, and some other Christians hold that Melchizedek indeed was Christ. Reasons provided include that Melchizedek's name means "king of righteousness" according to the author of Hebrews, and that being king of Salem makes Melchizedek the "king of peace." Heb. 7:3 states, "Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he (Melchizedek) remains a priest forever." Melchizedek gave Abraham bread and wine, which Christians consider symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ, the sacrifice to confirm a covenant.

Do you remember signing up for this cosmic event? by Dan Chesbro |
|
|
|
That is what a friend recently asked me, while we were discussing Earth Changes, Global Warming etc.
Well, apparently we all signed on or we would not be here for this phantasmagorial episode in the spiritual evolution of the Human Condition and the life of planet Earth. So, somewhere in the cosmos was an assembly to which we all attended and were invited to a sojourn on planet Earth, as she was about to rebirth herself. "Who wants to put on a spacesuit and get reborn in time for this age turning event? All interested raise your hands....."
However the call was sounded, the end result is the same....WE'RE HERE!
You are perfectly designed to do your job and in the time and space required to do so. Since there are no accidents or coincidences, that puts us all smack in the middle of our path and expectation. Every past life that you ever created is here with you now as you endeavor to serve and progress in your growth to your next incarnation, in whichever or whatever domain you choose. Remember the key to a successful life intrusion is the Art of Unconditional Self Love....boy, some things never change. It's that easy and you have nothing to loose, but maybe a few centuries of Karmic confusion. Love cancels Karma!
So best foot forward, chin(s) up, smile, and give it your all....after all you promised.
Welcome Home...
